The World Health Organisation says: "Masks should be used as part of a comprehensive strategy of measures to suppress transmission and save lives; the use of a mask alone is not sufficient to provide an adequate level of protection against COVID-19.

I haven't read the links you've put in (sorry - being lazy here) but am I right in thinking wearing a mask doesn't stop you from getting Covid, but prevents your own particles from being spread to others around you (if for example you had Covid and perhaps didn't know)?

Essentially, people who wear masks do so for the benefit of others rather than themselves. That is the main reason why I have worn mine constantly throughout, especially indoors and in large crowds where its more likely to be transferred.

That’s certainly my belief. As already mentioned, we will wear masks upon turnstile entry and remove them when at our seats.

We are both the wrong side of 70, but healthy thank God. We have some trepidation about the match, but have decided that we will attend and wear masks whilst in the queue at the turnstiles and through the busy covered area to the ground. Once outside / pitchside we will remove them.

I’m now taking my 81 year old dad! He is desperate to go having up till last year not missed a season (not every game) since 1946 and used to cycle up from Pound road Oldbury as a kid! The last few years I have met him at the Vine and had a slow walk up, this time I’ll take him straight to the ground and get him to his seat early, his view is that he loves it at the Hawthorns it’s his second home and given his age he can’t hang about!

I haven't wore mine since so called freedom Day. I wore it when it was illegal not too but not since.
I have had both jabs but feel that it should be up to the individual whether they have the vaccine or not, otherwise we are going back to Nazi Germany.
