Awful clumsiness from Rawlo - we need him to lose this from his game, he's in his preferred position as well.
But never a sending off offence...and nobody needs this, it's supposed to be a practice run simulating a real league game. The ref should've let it go. The only good it will do us is extra running for the players on the pitch

I'm a big fan of IB but if he can't sort the issues of us being soft and easy to score against, we're going nowhere.

Our defending once again is shambolic. People might try and say it’s only pre-season but the warning signs are there for me. Three conceded against York. Two in the first twenty minutes today.

We are going to have to score plenty of goals to counteract this apparent soft underbelly at the back this season if this is a sign of things to come.

Class displayed by Ardley trying to plea for Rawlinson’s Red card to be rescinded.

Anyway, don’t know what to make of the performance so far.
Well most of us know what to make of it, shocking, Abysmal, and they're the kind words

Rawlinson can't play in a team playing this way. He doesn't want the ball and that puts him on edge which results in him making defensive errors.

Midfield is the issue. All similar light weight players that look good on the ball but don't affect the game

Having Kane up front wouldn't even make a difference when we can't get the ball to our strikers. We get the ball in midfield then seem clueless how to make a progressive pass so it goes backwards and get recycled until we lose it.

As others have said - Brindley isn't a CB and DKE/Chicksen are weak links at wing back.

There seem to be a lot of 'weak spots' still...

Yep...i think i agree with you. This is a glimpse into the future for me. We can't deal with the high press and it is all too easy for them to bypass our lightweight midfield. The tippy tappy stuff doesn't work when you have no time on the ball.

We are weirdly playing like we did under Ardley!
