I just think if they are doing a job that could potentially save my life they should get free parking..

Wouldn't want them running outside putting money in the meter during an op

Nurses carrying out an operation, think your a bit mixed up there, it’s surgeons that perform operations but don’t let that get in the way

They are just people doing a job, same as anyone else.

Some people seem to think NHS staff are gods. They done very well out the past 18months.

That's kinda my view, you get excellent, average and **** employees just like in any industry.....financial included,.....I suspect most nhs staff fall into doing a fair job for a very fair pay....and few fall into the excellent or dreadful categories......but to say that these days is almost blasphemy.

But a nurse,at ninewells has to go to a hospital that was built halfway to Perth. The bus from East end of Dundee takes about 4 days to get there. Firemen get free parking,bell Street has parking for polis,ambulance drivers get the same free parking as nurses and rnli are rarely in the centre of town. Postie's and bankers can do one. My postie never shuts the gate,and every banker is misspelt.....no even puttin smileys

And again what about carers and those that work in the caring sector either private or council......not as qualified as a nurse but I'd argue at times a much harder job.

Nobody I know think NHS staff are gods, but most think that they should get a pay rise. You will disagree with that,which you are entitled to do.

They should be treated much better,iny opinion. Not getting travelling time between jobs was a joke,shift patterns are borderline illegal and having them walking around late at night is ridic.

Which hospital was built halfway to Perth. Ninewells Hospital is within the Dundee City boundary.

The ferries are people living on Scottish islands bridge to the Mainland. However the SNP controlled Scottish Government could not give a **** about that hence the reason that the Scottish Government fleet of ferries operated by Calmac another Scottish Government owned company are most old and continually break down.
