I seem to remember you saying you were surprised that there were any tv highlights at all to show for that 0-0 home game against Wimbledon, under Stendel in 2018 lol.

I could see that as well yesterday where our creativity was non existent in the 2nd half, and we ended up just giving it away and inviting them forward more and more. What happened to our ball winners and more importantly our ball players, its like they went into hiding and I don't like having to admit that in a home game.
Yes Lee Bowyer has toughened Brum up surprisingly well, but I stick by my original half time thought that they were nothing special and we could have beat them with a professional 2nd half performance. But it didn't happen did it, yet again, and we made them look like promotion contenders!.

Its like Benson & Palmer for example have had it after roughly an hour in each game, and whether thats down to fitness or lack of experience or lack of skill, it is worrying.

Clearly something has gone down with Kane as he should’ve made the bench (unless injured)

Sibbick was at fault at qpr for their first and was the main culprit for the Birmingham goal - Halme should be given game time

Collins hardly comes off his line as we’re sat far deeper than under big val

In short, for me, we have lost our identity and more worryingly, fitness levels

It’s as if they saw the benefit of a disciplinarian, but could take the p!ss with someone more laid back

For me what the midfield is lacking is a Scowen or a Perkins to compliment Palmer and Benson .

Someone who gets stuck in and does the horrible stuff and has loads of energy .

Halme is a possibility in that role and has a certain amount of those traits but not all of em .

The identity went to the Hawthorns Renno along with our backroom staff and captain .

Whether we would have repeated the success we had last season has been debated on this board many times .

I watched the WBA game against Peterborough on Saturday night .

Posh stood up to them physically and WBA struggled and weren't anything special on the night .

They got a break in time added on which I felt they didn't deserve , it won't happen every week .

Better teams than Peterborough will stand up to Albion this season .

Not impressed with the head butt by Kitching on the back of the Birmingham lads neck. No action taken by ref so FA may investigate.
    Kitching suspended for three games.

    Correct decision
