I’ve often disagreed with their opinion, buI don’t think that can be classed as ridicule.

I’m talking about the “where’s durhampie tonight?” after a win type of post. Have I ever said “where’s Killerkline tonight?” after a defeat?

Well that's disappointing to read EP lying to himself as well as anyone reading.

Of course he has KK but tbf to Elite he's obviously not alone on here. However don't mention this truth it goes against the fanclubs questionable narrative.

In his eyes you can ridicule the manager, other posters all you like when we lose or times are bad but don't try doing the same it if Notts win. That's not part of the made up rules. It's just one of the seemingly endless contradictions displayed on here.

For me it's just a bit of fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously. I will never understand why some folk get so wound up by anything on NCM. I guess not everyone is thick skinned and some people really take it to heart or let it get inside their heads which tbh I need to take into account moving forward.

Anyway, not sure the above or any reply to this question helps with drillerpie's original post which I approve of.

Some get so wound up by things written on here that they start a campaign to change the board, and even boast about how well it’s going in unwanted private messages.

Sorry to get involved but Elite doesn't ridicule people for being positive same as he doesn't when they're negative. If you look at his posts under every manager as I have for years now then you'll find that his initial prediction about how they'll do generally isn't far off the mark by the time they get sacked. He just said he doesn't think this style of play will get us up and we're abit soft, that's it, he hasn't ridiculed anyone. It's getting ridiculous on here regarding people saying people are positive or negative. Some have belief in IB and think that this system is the future of football so we're heading the right way. Some think the middle, that it might do well but at the moment it doesn't seem to be but when we have the best team out we can still do something. Some think it's a waste of time and will never get us up. They're called opinions and each as valid as the last.

In terms of positive and negative, I’ll agree to disagree with you. Individual/match performances aside. I understand that everybody as an opinion, but surely some are positive about the direction the owners are trying to take the club in, some reserve judgment and some don’t think it will work. What I don’t like, although some of it is humour, is the labelling of nodding dogs or pitchfork brigade.

I also respect your view, like I do with any of the ‘positive’ gang (off the top of my head I would include Swale and matt-magpie alongside you). Your views maybe a bit one-sided, but they provide a balance to the opposing side. You might find this hard to believe, but I would really love to join you. I would love to say that I think we are definitely heading in the right direction. The best I can say though is that I hope we are heading in the right direction. I just try and say what I see without bias.

Opinions, respect, positive, negative all that side. My initial point was off the back of your comment in an early post that you don’t ridicule negative or positive posts. I disagree with that comment, albeit you do it as bit of light hearted humour, I believe you do it. As I stated previously, I’m not upset by it. I actually thought you may have been poking for a reaction.

Back to the picture and I believe I see the bigger picture. As a club we couldn’t continue to operate in the manner we have for 2 decades. Rolling from owner to admin to owner and getting very close to seizing to exist. In my opinion, the current owners, have a long term plan that I believe will get and keep our club on a sound footing for years to come. Unfortunately, in the current world we live in the short term success of getting out of this bloody league may not come soon enough for some. For me, as painful as it maybe, a few disappointing performances/results will not make me lose faith in the long term plan. Some of the cogs in the plan may need to be changed along the way, but not after 9 matches.

Absolutely agree. People can post what the heck they like regarding Notts as far as I'm concerned. As long as it isn't designed to ridicule or humiliate people. That's just nasty and says more about the people who do it than the original poster.
