This is the organisation that has been fighting for years to introduce 'safe standing' as was desired by many fans. They have also been campaigning for the introduction of a regulator who would independently scrutinise the whys and wherefores of takeovers such as this one. The biggest problem that they have is that the 'elite' clubs always want to put a spoke in the works and definitely rule the roost as far as what happens in the PL. The organisation deals with football throughout the Leagues in trying to give everyone a fair crack of the whip ---a thankless and probably hopeless task!

How on earth is the Public Investment Fund (chaired by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and de facto ruler of that kingdom) not in fact an arm of the Saudi state? Can we expect Newcastle United to be invited to play a friendly against Al-Hilal in Riyadh any time soon?

So many people are angry that Newcastle FC, has been taken over by ,,,,someone down south! Angry people? This economic system is capitalism ,money talks!

What's so angry about ...someone from down south? So people are angry !

But not angry about what the Saudis buy from Britain?
    Saudi Arabia arms deal UK
The UK has exported £11bn worth of arms in 2019 according to the Department for International Trade (DIT)'s data. The sale was made despite June 2019 UK court ruling halting arms sales to Saudi Arabia due to its use in Yemen war contributing to the ongoing humanitarian crisis. I did not hear of complaints?

For example in Feb 2021, British officials authorised the export of almost £1.4bn of weapons to Saudi Arabia in the quarter after the UK resumed sales of weapons that could be used in the war in Yemen.
The current conflict between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis started in March 2015. The Houthis and allied units of the armed forces seized control of Sana’a and other parts of the country in September 2014 and in the following months. This prompted president Saleh to ask Saudi Arabia to intervene against the Iranian backed Houthis. If these Houthis could overthrow the Yemeni Government, they could control the Red Sea. Al Makha, located on the Red Sea just off the Southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, is a major seaport in Yemen. It ranks behind the largest ports at Aden and Al Hodeidah.
We must remember that Iran wants a state of chaos in the Middle East, it does this by selecting various groups, and encouraging resistance, Hamas, Hezbullah, Houthis, the one aim to overthrow governments, and cause disorder.

If Saudi Arabia did not help the Government that requested them .Because of support by Iran, the Red sea could be under the Houthis control and Iran's. Then if the Houthis keep attacking the oil fields of Saudi Arabia?
There has been widespread scepticism about the Yemeni Houthis being responsible for the attacks on Saudi Arabia’s Abqaiq and Khurais oil processing plants. The increasing missile, drone, and naval capabilities of the Houthis make the Saudi oil industry vulnerable to attack. ( The increasing missile, drone, and naval capabilities of the Houthis?) That is only with Iran's help.
Then will Israel just sit and watch - No way!

Glad to hear the Saudi butchering of Jamal Khashoggi and the Toon takeover is all good then Balan. But the Israelis think a kick in the gob or an odd rocket or two makes everything OKAY...

BT : Its all fake. The picture on the left is not the IDF. But could be from riots in Algeria ,Tunisia, Syria ,Lebanon etc?? Where did he but his uniform at Britan's Army and Navy stores? Another clue the stars on any shoulder are green with the IDF, not white.

BT : Again ,if you do not know so much about the Middle east ,best not to say. '' But the Israelis think a kick in the gob or an odd rocket or two makes everything OKAY...''

The only rockets fired (in the case of the Palestinians in Gaza) ,are rockets fired by our 'Iron Dome' defence system. And that is to hit only in coming rockets fired from Gaza. Other rockets are fired from planes, attacking military stores or ammunitions depts.

''an odd rocket or two makes everything OKAY...''
No, we fire hundreds of rockets at those in coming rockets from Gaza ,and of course they can fire thousands of rockets at us, luckily some rockets their aim (?) is some open field, in which case the incoming rocket is left. Hamas' armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigade, along with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group, launched 4,300 rockets in the war out of an estimated arsenal of 14,000. The barraged killed 10 civilians in Israel, including a child and ****ager, and injured 330 others.

Looks like I might be wrong about that, according to the Telegraph this morning both Tarko and McNeil will be on their shopping list.

Sub, I should make it clear, I was referring to the message, not the messenger, I just fall asleep reading that sort of stuff.
