This will be reviewed in three weeks just before kids break up from school for Xmas break.

"Three weeks to flatten the curve", remember that?

Politicians are hooked on power and the population won't do anything without nanny's say so.

    Where's the exit strategy?

I know 5 vaccinated people who've had it in the last few weeks so you'd better make sure all your guests have a lateral flow tests before attending this feast.

I was down in London a few weeks ago.

On the tube the wearing of masks is compulsory as a condition of travel but TFL don’t enforce their own rule.

Interesting to observe the demographics of mask wearers on the tube, nigh on 100% for over 50 white Caucasian types, near to 10% for the “Windrush” under 30s. High take up for the Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese types but poor on those that seem to be Pakistani or Indian background.

If we are really serious about beating covid we have to be a lot tougher on those that won’t cooperate

I thought we had moved on from this childish nonsense now, wearing a face covering in a shop but not at football games...cmon really?

Putting black and yellow tape on the floors of venues, politicians wearing masks for cameras and then laughing at us when they go partying without them when theres no cameras....wake up

Patrick Van Whitty was quoted as saying "masks dont offer protection" ...now he thinks they do, ffs anybody buying this?

It only takes 1 rotten apple in the barrel to spoil them all

I'll continue to wear my mask even if I have no proof they work much like I believe in God. What's to lose? There is some sort of philosophical argument for this position but I can't remember what it's called (Something paradox? Pascal's wager?) Still, I remember the argument but it's a bit longwinded to put on here.

Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all have masks in shops and they have had more Covid cases than England, it's just theatre.
