New loan player [Jayden Richardson]

Has anyone heard whether his loan is being extended until the end of the season?
I know IB has been in talks with Forest regarding keeping him here, just haven't heard anything recently
I think Stall mentioned it on Saturday that it would be depending on whether Forest could secure Spence from Middlesbrough until the end of the season, which i think has been confirmed or will be confirmed soon

Having Richardson till the end of the season would be a huge boost to our promotion chances. A class player

The problem is we were after him months ago, it was on and off but basically he didn't want to drop down to this level, if we've made a good impression then he may well stop, but if the past is anything to go by he'll want to go to a higher placed club, which is fully understandable.

They're signing a Canadian full back as well apparently.

That's the one....hopefully keeping Richardson off their radar for a while....what an asset he can be for us...I can't remember seeing such an exciting full back down here for years!

Surely it’s up to Forest where he goes? I don’t buy this ‘he didn’t want to drop down to our level’ story. Maybe it was Forest when they had Hughton in charge that didn’t want him coming. I find it strange that a new manager has come in and somehow persuaded Richardson to drop down.

Agreed, I have it on good authority that Yayes didn't want to leave us but was told by Forest he had to go to to Scunny. If Forest want him to stay then he will.

This is why i made the point that if Forest extend Spence loan till end of season, they have plenty of cover in that position meaning we stand more chance of keeping Richardson

I would guess he’s going to go elsewhere. Isn’t that why we’ve got Parsons as well?
