Interestingly the current Luke heading TTV has opened a Facebook account re " Conway Out " some interesting comments are being made , worth joining up to , plenty of straight from the heart comments ! So long as individuals don't go overboard ? This may draw attention to the current lot 80% + 20%s how bad fan's , Community, and Town think about them,

Well good of Luke and to be honest there could be some legs in this because of his YouTube channel presence .

I'm not on FB but none the less I'll try to keep up with events the best I can .

This is just in my opinion but the FB group is just the starting point and the way for those wanting change at the club to come together .

In all reality at this moment in time it's nothing much more than that , criticising the ownership through social media isn't anything more than we do and on bbs when all is said and done .

Obviously at some point it's going to have to develop its legs outside of social media and that's probably where I'd get involved .

I know recently I made a point about Conway and in my opinion it's him who is the real poison at the club but I'm not so sure highlighting one member of the consortium and using his name only in a protest group about the 80% is such a good idea .

You need the local media onside with you and Conway Out gives the impression of a bunch of rabble bleating on social media .

I wouldn't have personally even named any protest group after the 80% at all never mind one man .

Barnsley Supporters For Change , which reads BSFC gives the group far more credibility in my opinion .

Credibility is key , image is key , the ability to speak well is key and form healthy relationships with the media is key .

It would also be wise to come up with some alternative policies which doesn't include the spending of someone else's money or simply telling the consortium to clear off without having an alternative ownership solution .

However it's a start but at this stage it's a long way from what is required in my opinion .

OK - we get your drift.
You dislike Paul Conway and think he’s poison.
But you haven’t given the reasons why.
Would you still dislike him if Barnsley were now in the top 6 ?

In another thread I’ve given the reasons IMO how they have got things right - and how they have got things wrong.
The general trend being voiced is to dislike these owners - some of it bordering on hatred - but I can’t see any substance behind this - other than the results.

Looks like they are thinking same way Animal , changes are in the pipeline it seems , regarding creditably and Professional approach , Hat's off to them , hopefully driving this lot out as quick as possible , Get Behind Them !

Our lass is on FB and signed up to the group so I can see what's going off as I'm not on FB .

The group now have 1100 members and it's growing .

There's a meeting at The Garrison on Feb 1st if anyone is interested .

The group have also had the foresight to have a lawyer working along side them .

Luke G is also going down the route of " Not a penny More " which is encouraging enough for me to get involved because I feel that's also the way to go .

My early impressions are that this is a credible group to support if you agree that things today as they stand are not acceptable at the club .
