Did he have COVID is the only missing piece for me that I would like to see some evidence of. This country does appear to have lost its way in the chaos of Omicron now. When I have the Chief QLD Health Doctor going on the news one minute telling me that if my kids get Covid it will just be a mild illness and on the other hand telling me that I need to vaccinate them against this mild illness a few hours later than you have to wonder. Our state based Governmental system has been shown up for all it is in COVID. A disastrous bureaucratic mis-mash of snouts in the trough and self serving large egos all of which need rounding up taking to the nearest field and putting out to pasture. This country needs a massive political overhaul both in terms of personalities involved and the system of Government.

Excellent post QL, this was never about tennis or Djokovic for that matter, on the issue of governments your country is not far of the same tyranny as ours, and the problem will be who will we vote for, me personally i am in favor of a complete over haul of politics, no more 4 year stints, this must be cut in half for starters, imo

Your country is 92% vaccinated, so how the hell have you recorded 500,000 cases since Omicron arrived only a couple of weeks ago, they can't all be un vaccinated?

Well quite simply being vaccinated makes zero difference to getting the virus doesn't it. As proven by above statistic.

How are we nearly two years into this and some people still don’t understand that being vaccinated doesn’t mean you can’t catch and spread COVID? Being fully vaccinated drastically reduces the chances of a hitherto healthy person with no underlying conditions dying or ending up seriously ill from the virus, that’s it.

The Australian government has made a total pig’s ear of this situation, but it looks like Novaxx was gaming the system with his Dec. 16 COVID “diagnosis.” He’s completely within his rights not to take the vaccine, but tournaments should also demand that only fully vaccinated players can compete. He’s a role model for young people and, rightly or wrongly, his actions do matter.

That opinion has never really wavered its just become more apparent to the general population in the last couple of years with 7 different sets of COVID rules in one country not covered over by this nonsensical national cabinet. Anyway don't want to hijack the post and will continue to laugh at Scomo re Djokovic.

We are not far off a banana republic. I've dealt with American businessmen, over here as tourists, and they are totally frustrated with dealing with this country. If the time difference isn't bad enough, it's the yeah nah, it's Friday so I'll get back to you on Monday...whoops Monday is my rostered day off, so we'll aim for mid next week sometime. Unless the sun is out and I've chucked a sickie to go fishing.

Not sure if it matters whether you’re writing on the bog door, paragraphs help rednecks read betterer.

He's a bit of a cock. Apart from the Serb-Australians the rest of the country don't seem to like him.

Looks like deportation is on it's way. It seems he also lied on his form to enter Australia...or should I say his money grabbing agent did. Saying he'd not been anywhere within 2 weeks of his travel to Australia when it turns out he went to Spain. What a tool
