Actually never really found out what he did. Just heard him howling one night and he hobbled in on 3 legs but no sign of a fight. Took him to vets, X ray showed nothing so he assumed an ACL tear and said he could operate and take a look at a cost of $3K-$4K. We said 'no thanks' as he wasn't even sure what he was looking for and over the next 3 months with adding glucosamine to his food, giving him some heat treatment and a splint on the bad leg (back left) he slowly started using it again and building up the strength in it. 12 months on he's a right as rain and so is my bank account![]()
I once hit a Greyhound when i was living in Wincobank. Made quite a bit of damage. Dog got up and ran off howling(it died later). Owner said its getting boisterious now and can jump over the garden wall(2 foot high).
Reported to Police and they really didn't give a tass. Asked about the damage to my car, claim on my Insurance he said. What about the owner paying?.....you'll have to prove negligence.............cheers, negligence?? he couldn't look after himself never mind a dog.
It was an old car so just sorted it with the Hammer.........as for reporting another????????

Our old girl is 13 in April and she's the one who it has got the worst. The 2 shepherd. One is 2 year old. Other 9 month. Pup has recovered after 3 days but she was the worst one I was worried about. Wouldn't drink or eat yesterday was the first day she has eaten anything. Today she's wanting anything and everything offered.
All our dogs are raw fed though boiled chicken and rice will be on the menu this week. I guess little and often
