What did Wednesday do tonight? I thought they were garbage. Some neat football at times but totally ineffective. Poor. Sunderland should have finished them tonight. Let's hope they finish the job in the 2nd leg. If not there's always Wycombe to **** them up

down Wednesday's will have thought themselves lucky, so all to play for at Hillsborough.

I see they have announced the crowd at over 44,000, what a statement for league one.
They expect the 2 legs to set the record for aggregate gate across 2 playoff semi-finals and that includes Championship playoffs.

Very nervy last 20 minutes. Both teams frightened of losing………or winning.

Wednesday fans will have their genitals out over that, no doubt about it!

Sunderland the better side but they’ll need to step it up in next one

Poor game was this Sunderland v Wednesday, because on the strength of the Wycombe v MK Don's match the night before both Wycombe or MK would have beaten either of those 2 last night.
Still all to play for at swillsbro but even if they dont make the final they will be able to tell all and sundry how many supporters turned up to watch, and they might get a few thousand open topped buses, with the supporters on, going through sheffield whilst the Wednesday squad clap them as they go past.....Carlsberg dont do supporters.......

I wonder who will win over 2 legs with 'massiveness'? It might not matter because Wycombe may have the last laugh over the lot of em.

Wycombe look the pick of the 4 on the first leg showing - however, this will mean little if standards drop in the return fixture - although I can't see MKD coping at all with the 'dark arts' I expect them to deploy to choke off any hope of a way back in for MK

All Wycombe Wanderers need to do is tie Twine in knots, also close Darling down,
keep him quiet. Move over Darling [old un's will remember this]
