I think it’s too early for panic.

So it could possibly be choice #3 or#4?

Sounds like Mr Hanks couldn't lose either way, and that would make Forrest Gump Altrincham

Mel Gibson turned down the role of Maximus in Gladiator.

He's said to have regretted the decision ever since.

Or there’s no ‘order’ as such and we’ve just approached people we want to talk to.

It could be concerning this if, say, we approached Altrincham and basically offered him the job, and Parkinson was interested, came and learned more, met the owners, saw the budget etc and then decided nah he’s better off there. It’s less concerning if he’s one of a number of people we’ve approached for an interview, he’s taken a couple of days to think about and decided he’s happy where he is or doesn’t want to uproot his family etc. We maybe only know at all because the bookies got wind and Altrincham needed to put a statement out to end the speculation.

    We just don’t know.

Got to be honest, glad I've waited on getting my season ticket. We've bought in two players from a lower league and can't even get a manager from a part time club... The board have a lot to do
Me too regarding season tickets, shows how far the club has fallen, the owners need to up their game and show some ambition as it seems some of us who go are holding out on what we used to do naturally.

This. The Derry manager was invited in for an interview, if I read it correctly - big difference from being headhunted and offered the job.

By setting such a rigid set of parameters, the owners are limiting the number of suitable candidates in the UK, so we may have to look overseas where the model is better accepted and not be surprised if we’ve never heard of the coach. IB’s departure does seem to have caught the Reedtz bros somewhat unawares, though, which surprises me a little.

I’m more concerned right now with the fans saying they’ve not renewed their season tickets yet, because that’s more likely to keep us stuck down here for longer.

?????? Not sure you've quite got the hang of it lol.

All those suggestions on the NCFC bingo card are classics. Great history?
