Ridiculous scoreline considering the way we played. They never looked like scoring in that 2nd half apart from our goalies double save straight after the strange decision not to give us a penalty. Great workout though and roll on Killie away next week.

How was it, heard snippets that we had progressed nicely from last week and scoreline maybe not a fair reflection

looked decent, Fletcher should have scored 2 early in the first half. Did our usual where we do everything but score when in the box. Cudjoe looked very good.

Still 2-3 players light, feel like we are starting the season too soon and could do with at least 1 more proper friendly.

Edit to add: Fletcher defo an upgrade on what was up top last season and played some good stuff, but i do worry where our goals are coming from... he has to take chances like today as it doesnt look like we are gonna get goals from the players behind him judging by their lack of chances in pre-season so far, we are not clinical at all as we have seen for 2 seasons

Team look much sharper. Still room for improvement. We were not clinical in front of goal with the chances we had. Should have easily been awarded at least 2 penalties. I thought Watt had a poor match and his passing was poor. Harkes was poor also(not jumping on the bandwagon), I really wish he would add some goals to his play. I know he has hit a couple of worldies but in my opinion, he should have a more attacking presence.
Cudjoe was great, still a bit rough around the edges but was proving to be a real handful.
Overall, the scoreline didn't reflect the game. Hopefully we can get 1 or 2 more players in next week, we still are pretty light in the final third...

Smith better than him beside levitt imho. Would play freeman at rb and smith where harkes was. Harkes can only play off front or off the bench

ref was a homer. Stonewall pen on Fletcher, then played dead on 90 mins when there had been a raft of subs in second half, doubtful if we would have scored though. Keeper looks good, better distribution than Siegrist. good save before their goal and good double save in second half. Nice crisp passing throughout with Cudjoe impressing. Sibbald did OK would play Meekinson before Harkes. Apart from first 15 mins Harkes contributed nothing.

Smith, Harkes, Sibbald & McMann I'd be happy to replace right now if we could.

Although we have lost all our pre season games i'm very relaxed as Connolly has returned to shore up the defence. Its like a new signing and at this rate might be our only one before Killie.

Are we writing off Sibbald before the season even starts?

To me the one year extension given to Harkes looks like a lazy signing. He very nearly jumped ship and it appears we did a deal with him to save Tony all the hassle of bringing in a replacement.I can only judge him on the Sunderland game and he didna look interested in even being here.
