Agree Titch buddy. Made even more strange, that Bruce himself was more than a decent defender in his day ? Surely he see’s the shortcomings and inevitable errors of particularly Bartley ? Indeed O’Shea and AJ, whilst being preferred over Kyle, would both benefit from the presence of Clarke (or the like)

I would start Okay on Saturday and hope Livermore gets well soon - December! Making the effort to go on Saturday so want Okay starting along with Swift, Wallace and Dike!

I’d agree normally but Forest got up due to a superb central defensive pair last season.

We got up in 2002 due to the same and in 75-76 due to a fantastic defence, our scoring record was poor in both of those seasons was poor and in 75-76 Ally Brown was top scorer with just 10 goals.

In 2002 we used to chant “we only need one goal” because we were that right defensively.

It is a post I would not normally make as I am more a defenselessly minded person, first and foremost....but we were so woeful last year scoring that I changed. Our defense last year was poor yet we still had one of the least conceded in the goals against column......had we a goal scorer last year to convert chances made we would have gone up.....so scoring end has been addressed but defense so far no.....
Strategy looks like....score more then your opponents...simple really....
