Been mentioned that he’s hopeful to be back for Blades game

Probably won’t play much in that game if at all but it’ll be good to see him and start getting them balls in net

Yes we are desperate for strikers though don't rush him back.
I said when his injury happened. He jogged down the line. before he could warm up properly MT was shouting him to get ready to go on. He made his first sprint and that's him done for 2 month. I've noticed a few times the subs jog to the corner. Stand watching the game, kick a leg out every few seconds then are called back to go on. Apart from injurys MT knows when he's subbing a player. The one who's replacing them should do a min of 5 min warm up. In rugby the teams have exercise bikes at the side of the pitch and coaches warming up the players. Wouldn't it make sense to have something similar

On a similar note it confuses me to see the subs at half time practising keepy ups and tricks rather than something more translatable to a game. Maybe they pass a ball so often in training it doesn’t make that much difference but it looks a but casual to me. Same for all teams anyway

Last seen by a friend of mine in a jacuzzi in a gym not a million miles from the ' elite ' district of Canklow.
Nice unassuming lad by all accounts.

I'm with caytonmiller, don't rush him back.
Already unfortunate to have had 3 injuries since we signed him.

I agree Cayton. I can't think for the life of me where but I'm sure I read an article (probably a US piece bcos they have always been way ahead in Sports science and development) stating that the 'subs' role is probably the only thing that hasn't moved on in the game. You still see them sat on the bench, chewing gum, yawning and looking about as interested as I would be at a crochet lesson! A new role of backroom staff would be a Subs Coach to over see warms ups, hydration and tactical involvement in the game that in all probability they will be taking part in within the hour.Marginal gains.....that's what it's about.
