Totally agree with you Dave and yes it’s all cheap crap with slave labour. In reality though, businesses here are on their knees because they can’t get the staff on the minimum wage so how would this work?

As Blood points out though - these scumbags have no morals and copy everything in sight even with intellectual copyright contracts!

If the Chinese and Russians in this country can’t denounce their own dictators in their motherland and are in visas - they should have them all revoked! They can’t have their cakes and eat it!

Those who think the Chinese people will one day overthrow their oppressors need a rethink.

Having been to Beijing, I have never come across such a subservient people.

Tiananmen Square and the following economic growth means there is such devotion to their leaders.

This can be seen in a couple of incidents I can recall involving sport. One was a USA basketball coach who criticised China and there was a boycott by the Chinese nba fans to the point where I think the nba TV rights deal in China was under risk if not cancelled.

There was another incident involving a footballer, maybe at Arsenal, doing the same and that led to another boycott.

After years of perceived humiliation by countries like Japan and starvation the Chinese people are grateful for their current world status, even if it means loads of suicides from badly treated workers in factories like Foxconn whilst making iphones.
