I expected nothing as they are a good side, so wasn't surprised.

My only main gripe was how utterly crap Rodrigo was and why, when we all know he tires much quicker than the rest of them, he wasn't subbed instead of Aaronson and Harrison both of whom looked pretty good, Aaaronson more so.

Struijk is a liability at full back, he tires but he can't go forward and gets rings run round him by anyone with a bit of pace or skill and our new 'hard' and 'tough' left back looks like a proper soft touch.

Adams, Aaronson and Koch (until he started just giving the ball away) looked pretty decent, Meslier as always looked solid and overall I don't think Brighton had that many massive chances they were just pretty much always on top and it was obvious if anyone was going to score it was them.

Dissapointed we couldn't get out of there with a 0-0 but 7 points from the first 4 is better than I thought and I think if we start using Sinisterra more often instead of James and hopefully Firpo returns and plays like we know he can we will look better, at this point I ain't even going to say 'when Bamford returns' because he just isn't we will see him in a month for 2 games before he's hobbling off the pitch again for another 3 month lay off and we are all stood there wondering why we rely on his destroyed legs.

You know it’s not good when you’re hoping for Firpo to return.

Where’d the mojo go that we had last game, or are we only going to be ‘up’ for certain games.

Oh well cannot win them all.
Not seen the game yet & doesn't sound like a decent 90 min performance was put in either.
One for the learning curve suppose.

Like Joel says Brighton are a decent team and despite us not been near our best we held em for a large part of the game and could have even gone ahead ourselves before they did but they were the better team on the day.

7 points from 4 games ain't too shabby either but we need a reaction next game...oh and a new LB/CF before the transfer window shuts would be nice as well.

    As always....MOT.

Well, not as bad as some stated now I've watched the match. For sure Brighton created chances before Gross scored. Chelsea missed a few early freebies at ER but we took ours that day but didn't against Brighton when it mattered. Rightly Marsch was annoyed by a string of free-kicks awarded against us so the rules were levied at him rightly.

We failed to create anything in the first half worryingly but Sinisterra missed a chance to score when collided with the post early in second half and those have to be taken away from home for sure as Rodrigo knows well as he could have done better with his effort before they scored.
The Harrison enigma continues to frustrate me - all or nothing, £50 million ?

Really can’t be more obvious after watching this game how much we need a LB. Big Pascal fan but he can’t run with the fast wings.

The striker situation appears hopeless. Bamford is likely out for season with injuries and while I love Joffy he can’t go a full 90 . Rodrigo had a bad game and we have no one else. James is just not effective

Taking nothing from Brighton who played well but seemed a me of those days when the ball wouldn’t break and the 50:50s went the other way.

Not sure about the third kit looks more like a training too
