    Rangers did themselves proud tonight.

    Shivers from it.

I also like how they listened to UEFA say they couldn't play the national anthem and then did it anyway - think it was a pathetic move by UEFA to say no British team could play the national anthem.

Personally i'd rather have the monarchy than a president of some sort, or the prime minister becoming the head of state whatever.

It's sad the queen has passed, i was born just a few months afyter she cam to the throne - I've never known another monarch other than Queen Elizabeth 11.

I feel Charles has not chosen a good name for his reign - it wasn't very lucky for the previous 2 charlies ! especially Charles 1st
    hope it isn't an omen.

RIP Elizabeth Rex - The pomp and circumstance is 2nd to none. we know how to put on a show.

not everyones cup of tea but i do enjoy watching the pageantry etc that has existed for hundreds of years in some cases.

King Chas spaniels are trained and used to doing what they are told to do.

I can't see this new King Charles kowtowing to some of the sometimes stupid M.P's he will have to work with.

I know the position of the ruling monarch is supposed to be non political but Charles appears to be rather liberally (not Liberal political party) minded with his own strong views. I can't see him being quite so, always diplomatic as the late Queen.

And that is why he is not as popular as his mother was. She kowtowed to no one, but was supremely diplomatic and (mostly) kept her political views to herself.

I think it could be centuries before there is a monach as popular as the late Queen.

Latest YouGov has him at 42 % approval. The Queen was 75%

His hypocrisy might have something to do with that. (Do as I say not as I do) tends to annoy people.

I'm surprised the Queen isn't in the upper 80's.

Charles has already said he'll step back from expressing his views now he is King - whether he will or not, who knows. I suspect he will in public but not in private.
