Based on what, as one of the rumours was he was recommended to Ross/Fox by a former teammate, hard to know what to believe

There is no doubt that a section of fans have a healthy dislike for TA and want everyone else to to jump on that bandwagon, I'm still not sure why though as apart from the last couple months or so he'd overseen progress on and odd the park over a few years... Ironically when trying to appease fans by hiring a so called decent and well known manager, that's when things took a downturn

Can only imaging the stick he'd have got had it not been a pretty solid few years

Agreed, sounds utter keech (sorry old shed boy) and part of the nonsense rumours that go about that cause extra negativity about some of the fan base, case in point chick a saw above... I'm more excited at the prospect of us getting out of danger and getting up the noses of people that have been reveling in our beginning of season struggles

Can't wait for the busy October we have

A win against Saints btw, looking at the other fixtures, it's not beyond far fetched that we could be 8pts off 3rd next Sat evening, plenty permutations but some people definitely too glass half full at times

Either way we need to get the win very soon to kick start things properly now we have stopped the rot, the only way is 👆🏻

I'm not overly fussed about the appointment. Probably would have preferred a few more games under his belt before leaping in with a two year deal. Perhaps with Crawford as coach we might at least get some specialist striker input that may get us scoring goals again. I've been pretty quiet on the new manager subject tbh and have found it hard to muster any enthusiasm about any replacement for JR. Let's hope October can kick start us and reinvent my faith.

Perhaps the reason any other club in the UK wouldn't pick Fox is because he hasn't been a part of their back room staff in a mostly successful set up? Our last internal appointment didn't work out too bad did it? Much to the poisonous rumour mobs dismay.

He does like to nail the odd important goal. Another one against the Huns and he gets to keep them!
