That’s like going into a pub having a go at someone for been positive getting a pasting then crying he got bullied.

    Very apt.
    Not really

We created some reasonable play around the box but it just wouldn't drop right for us. A couple of chances first half should have been buried but weren't.

Up front at the minute we have about as much firepower as a leaking water pistol. I doubt Kelly, Eaves and Washington will bag ten goals between them this season. Maybe a tad harsh on Kelly as he isn't getting game time and at least looks like he knows where the goal is. Sadly Eaves has offered absolutely nothing so far. Is he over his injury or is this the best we can expect?

Ogbene was anonymous today, Wiles looked awful too. But the legacy of not subbing him has continued, at least Rathbone was having a go.
Viktor and Hall did ok, Norton Cuffy showed some real moments of class but also a few rushed touches that led to a misplaced pass or the ball going out. Barlaser looked as though he was trying to calm things down and play some good stuff but nobody seemed interested. As for Woody himself, was he at fault for their first goal? I couldn't tell, I was sat so far in the corner I was almost with the away end but did he freeze thinking their player was offside and by doing so allowed them through unchallenged?

As for the fans, I think we started off well, it looked like we were really up for getting behind the team but then our effort faded out to match the team effort.

Still, we'll go again on Wednesday. Can't say I'm inspired by our approach of Matt Taylor. Apparently we've had loads of applications and have been "surprised" by the calibre of some of the names, but yet we've offered the job to a guy with 8 weeks experience of League One who didn't even apply?

I'm normally a happy clapper but at the minute I feel I'm clapping with palms full of dog poo

On a game that we could do with the crowd being the 12th man again, not a peep.

We really need a manager and I think we should have had one at least watching from the stands today.

CAM wanted to make sure that everyone knew about past posts etc ,to basically point out that anything I had an opinion about wasn't worth listening to because I had not been on within a certain time scale saying how great everyone was TS the players and manager etc in other words nothing I was saying was to be taken as been a valid opinion ,It was obvious why he tried to point my past posts out ,to try to ridicule my present posts, If I had come on today saying how great I thought everything would be and how I hoped the lads would win 5-0 etc and what a brilliant guy TS is and that we needed to do a collection and have a bronze statue put up of TS and all the players ,he would never have pointed anything out about any previous posts or taken obvious offence to anything I said...Actually I did want us to win 5-0 and I don't think TS is a bad chairman for our club and I did actually feel Warne had started to get to grips with being a proper manager.. But I do think TS is trying to do things on the cheap that just won't help our clubs situation in this league and that is probably why Warne finally lost patients and left...And I do think it's going to be a costly error on TS part...And hopefully Warney's for leaving us in the crapper
I'll let anyone who wants to form their own opinion read the match thread. You are the one who continues to take matters off topic on this thread. Why don't you post some thoughts on today's match? We lost 2-0 by the way.

Wigan played us to near perfection.
Getting worried about Eaves, completely ineffective.
Dan couldn't get space to do anything.
    Wiles anonymous.
    Creativity still our biggest issue.
Better strikers help create but all of them still need service, we create naff all.
    Bramall terrible for long periods.
    Norton-Cuffy didn't deserve to lose.
    We lacked any quality.

    Onto Wednesday. Another game.

By the way I think CAM is doing a grand job and I’m happy to carry on reading cebumans posts. Can we leave it as that for this thread or start a different one? Please

We were the second best of two poor teams.

It was all a bit similar ! Started with Same subs not making bench Odoffin, Bola, and McCart, same formation, same first sub was Rathbone, Eaves for Washington, players who hardly put a shift in staying on the park for 96 minutes.

I said if we lost today Warne would be held responsible ! Unfortunately he has saddled us with Eaves for three years ! Burnley offering 2 million for Wiles should have been snapped up with open Arms ? Don’t think we had any offers for Chieo but the man is stealing a living on today’s performance, constantly diving to the floor. Somebody has to take control quickly because we are fading away, new ideas needed and selection based on performances required, Wood can’t play both roles, one or the other?
Wigan are a good outfit, well balanced with quality players throughout 4 away wins on the trot confirms that, they just outmanoeuvred us today, with a bit more quality at the ***** times which proved pivotal.
