I personally found the comment from Jo Brand fantasising that people shouuld not throw milkshakes at Farage, but instead throw battery acid quite funny. Similar in that it is a joke from a celebrity fantasising a violent against someone who's world views you don't like for the amusement mainly of people who share the same political view of the celebrity make the joke.
But oh, the outrage on here at Brand's joke!! People seemed to want censorship then for some reason!
(Not making any judgement on Clarkson's fantasy. Just pointing out if the recipient of the 'joke' was someone you personally did like and respect, you most likely would have joined with the moral majority on here that deemed Brand's 'joke' unacceptable). Imagine if a Steve Coogan wrote exactly the same comments as Clarkson about Suella Bravaman - I suspect the same people on here who are finding it funny would be calling it outrageous!)
I sympathise with their situation Grist above anything else , the $3m is nowt at the side of the trappings of royalty when all is said and done , let's not forget Harry was born in to this thing and didn't have a choice , I've often wondered if any of them really wanted it if they'd had a choice .
Meghan is a different kettle of fish because she did and it wouldn't take a genius to work out the royal family business isn't all beer and skittles but the lad put a ring on her finger and so she clearly comes in to it .
There isn't a plan for anyone dropping out of royalty and perhaps they should be , well not unless your a nonce of course .
What I find funny is why people give a feck about what Clarkson does or says.
