Remember (eventually) getting through traffic to the ground car park, and with the Q in the North Stand growing bigger and bigger, we just bit the bullet and paid top whack in the main stand, to ensure we got in (yeah, the Utd crowd was that big that day). Remember thinking this is simply not going to be our day (after Charlie’s pen miss), but what a second half, and scenes at the end were unbelievable. Tbh, the play-off with Partick at Tannadice in ‘96 shades it for most mental (and most meaningful) celebrations. A cup win is always a bonus game, BUT a league game win as in ‘83, or especially the survival games above are season defining moments!! PTBAA!

Yeah, I'm sure GB would struggle to lift his young lad like that these days mind. 🤪

I was working in Brussels then, on a trainee wage.

I "watched" the game on teletext.

Honestly, if Utd ever done this, I’d be finished with it!!

This is the type of thing a wee club would do to maximise income from a one off match against sevco, not the behaviour of a club in the same league. I don't think it's the first time this has been done by them either. The pricing? Well it's just purely to take advantage of the traveling supporters and phuck the home fans. Pretty shocking all round really.

Last remaining 200 tickets went on sale last night. Only half of them left.

Aye, that's an absolute shocker tbf. Especially as the Saints fan group had specifically asked them not to do it.

    Wee team syndrome.
