Also Nemane and Slocombe(and Mitchell if he gets near the pitch) take a lot of unfair criticism.
Nemane is definitely a confidence player who is playing well especially when we play weaker teams and him and TAR will continue to chop and change for the rest of the season(both important squad members) with TAR(when fit) playing when we play the likes of Chesterfield and Wrexham(as the better and taller defender)
It has been difficult for Slocombe to adapt to playing as a footballing goalkeeper but has improved over the 18 months he’s been doing it(gained us two points v Wrexham) and done okay generally decent shot stopper and taker of crosses so we should get behind him more
No doubt we will need all the squad for the rest of the season(the pressing game saps a lot of energy remember Leeds) and LW is managing it brilliantly.
So let’s stay behind the boys and if anything let’s make as much positive noise as possible v Boreham on Tuesday( everyone saying how Wrexham fans are the 12th man can we be ? as I have been to most home games and IMO been far too quiet)
Good post, agree with all of that….apart from Slocombe claiming crosses well 🤔

Tsanho, looking at yesterday and previous games think he’s been told to stay on his line from crosses unless it’s close to goal and to let the defenders deal with them

100% agree. The stick Slocombe takes is ridiculous. People should watch the premiership games which has some of the best keepers in the world and see hairy moments and mistakes every single week.
It’s a totally different position now, when you compare it to a couple of decades ago or so when keepers picked up back passes, booted every goal kick, every ball out of their hands to now where a lot are expected to play like an outfield player and outfield players miss control and don’t always pass to their fellow player, the issue keepers have it can cost goals, I thought he was very good yesterday.

Nemane and Slocombe I can agree with, but not Mitchell.

When he has got near the pitch, he's shown very little.

If you want an old fashioned winger then he’s not your man but he does bring a lot to the table.
    Exactly this.
Nemane gets in behind defenders several times a game and is having a great season. The constant criticism of him is completely unwarranted in my opinion.
You have to appreciate how much ground wingbacks have to cover so you have to pick your moments. Nemane rarely tries to take players on from a standing start because it’s extremely difficult to do, and often we play teams that sit back so there’s hardly any space. He waits his moment to get in behind them and he does it very well. TAR and Chicksen are no different.

Regarding Mitchell I think he’s an okay squad player for last 15/20 minutes if we are coasting to rest some legs and is on very little wages.
The way we play with 1 striker and 2 number 10’s we have Scott as back up for Langstaff and then we have Rodrigues,Scott,Austin and Castro(if he doesn’t go back) then maybe Vincent or a replacement for Castro.
So at present I probably wouldn’t get another centre forward as someone of quality wouldn’t be happy sitting on the bench(or not in the squad) and why would we reduce Langstaff or Scott game time ?
We can also go until March in the transfer market so if any injuries still have time to get a replacement for either.
If that did happen I’d go after McShane at Dorking

    That's how I see it.

"Brilliant for the entire season so far" Luke Williams talking about the '10 minute wonder' in his latest post match interview.

Also great to hear TAR isn't far away from full fitness in the battle for the RWB spot.

Laddo for what it is worth I think you are very knowledgeable about Notts and understand what LW is trying to do but I have been reading this board for the last 5 years and have to say that you and Elite are ruining it hijacking most threads with your spats.
As the latest differences about Nemane where your post above shows you trying to goad Elite AGAIN.
My suggestion would be that by all means comment on threads but leave the sarcasm and goading in your head or stay in handbags with Elite or ask Swale to permanently ban you.
There is no need for this and I read other fans forums and they are so much better because you and Elite aren’t ruining it

If you read the handbags thread, there is a clear common denominator. Only one poster seems to be involved in all arguments. It's the poster who says he enjoys making other posters look stupid.

If you (like me) read other fans forums, you will see lots of arguments, lots of differing opinions, lots of negative reactions after a poor result, and lots of fans who vent their anger in the heat of the moment.

What you won't see is a poster who repeatedly takes such delight in mocking and belittling fellow fans.

Maybe 'only on NCM' does exist after all!

Why is the above post goading Elite?
