Good second half performance from Burnley. Could have been anything tonight draw win or lose.

If it’s any conciliation, Burnley look a terrific side

We faded second half as Burnley upped their game. Our bench weakened us … whereas Burnley’s bench strengthened them … Rogic for Swift was a big downgrade. Also not having Asante gave us no options upfront.

Still not too despondent… Burnley are probably the best side in the Champ and we pushed them all the way …

Diangana and Rogic should be nowhere near the first team at the moment. Diangana has no confidence and Rogic is just too slow.

Asante was a big miss tonight. He would have scored the chance Dike had.

I’m so gutted I can’t bring myself to think about football for a while.

I’d started to care again, a mistake on my part.

I need to reset, the hope is one of the things that messes with my head and I can’t afford that.

I saw we’d taken the lead and then just prayed until full time, the vision of the final score stirred the old anger in me which I’ve spent a year avoiding.

I’m taking a bit of a break to reset my brain.

    Later folks, take care.

Not taking it away from Burnley.
But our bench was weak tonight, apart from Grant they all played on Tuesday.
Ist half we held our own, big miss losing Philips and Asante. Dike missed a big chance and also saw him hold his thigh muscle towards the end of game.
Rogic is a luxury player and very slow, not up the championship pace.
Dust our self down and go on another run.

The first half ‘goal’ that we scored should have been allowed, there was no foul on their ‘keeper.
