Seems to be 50/50 with fans on this potential signing.

Agree. We got to be careful with signing players like this.

Wrong attitude if you ask me, move on.

One thing I didn't know but have now seen, which may be influencing him somewhat, is the way the Everton supporters were with him after the previous games - hurling abuse at his car, shaking it etc.

Looked bad, really bad - which sort of makes me see why he wants to get out and is trying to force a move.

However, I still don't like the guy and really not convinced he's good for us.

Howe has talked about getting the right personality for the squad as a must in the past.

If he does go for Gordon then I’d have to assume he’s discussed a lot of this with the team and is happy with what he is being told.

    Agreed Ian.

    I trust Howe's judgement but still . . . Gordon concerns me.

Yeah, still concerned… it’s a team he is basically on strike with that he has been with since he was 10 years old… and he seems to be a little sh!te on the pitch (but like Bellamy when it is our little sh!te it is different &#128521, but am sure Howe is aware that team spirit is a large part of our current success, so if we are really in for him then I’ll give him a fair chance and a clean sheet if he signs and judge him on his time here.

Also, if he does sign, he’s probably in for some serious sh!t at the end of April at Goodson 🤦*♂️

I was wondering why he hasn’t put in a transfer request until someone said above that he and his family are everton supporters.

Not a fan of his antics, he’s a Everton supporter and his family are too, if he’ll throw his dummy out the pram there, what will he do here?

Only thing I can think to maybe explain it, he saw the deal to Chelsea knocked back for an OTT fee… so he might have been disillusioned at that, and is trying (unwisely) to force a move through now because of that.
Everton fans have threatened him after defeat to Southampton,I think he wants away for safety.
