    I agree with Durham, 5 professional levels of 20 is more than enough, Then have an election process beyond that to eject the joke clubs that are temporarily backed by Billy big timers (FGR, Stevenage and the M25 orbit clubs) and allow back in those who play in proper distinct large towns and small cities with genuine long established emotional attachments in the wider community, the Yorks, Darlingtons and Chesters of this world.

    Dropping the re-election process in favour of auto promotion relegation was a terrible mistake. Far too many teams on the EFL fixture lists now that mean nothing to anybody. It's diluted the top 4 tiers and it's the non-leagues who have benefitted with clubs like Dover and Kings Lynn now able to make money on the back of Notts etc. bringing large followings.
