Hmmmm. Bournemouth won at the weekend.
Forest could be in the relegation zone at the weekend. Can’t see them beating an in form Aston Villa whilst Leicester and Bournemouth both can’t lose as they play each other.
Take a look at Forests remaining fixtures, I genuinely think they won’t pick up more than 6 points - 2 winnable games v Southampton and Palace.
Both of you are correct in my eyes.
There is so much rubbish down there, so many teams have gone through periods where they can't buy a win for love nor money. I've regularly swapped the teams who I believe will keep the Red Dogs up all season. Thankfully a few manager changes and surprise results has meant only Soton are toast.
Agree after the full time whistle went last night I had a quick look at their remaining games and it's a tough run in, especially when your away record is tragic. To only pick up 1 point from Wolves home, Leeds away is relegation form. My only concern is they seem to give most teams a real game at a packed out City Ground.
Cooper has been amazing for them, and as mentioned above they would mad to sack him, I for that reason I also hope they do. Although whatever he's doing, or asking the players to do away from home clearly isn't working. It's April and he still hasn't worked it out, a real Jekyll and Hyde team home versus away.
Come on the Villa
Forest prob have the most difficult run in of any team down the bottom end.
Aston Villa (A) - Sat, April 8
Manchester United (H) - Sun, April 16
Liverpool (A) - Sat, April 22
Brighton and Hove Albion (H) - Wed, April 26
Brentford (A) - Sat, April 29
Southampton (H) - Mon, May 8
Chelsea (A) - Sat, May 13
Arsenal (H) - Sat, May 20
Crystal Palace (A) - Sun, May 28
I think Saints and Bournemouth will go down and perm any one from 6 for the last place.
Cooper's future "live" eh?
Should we expect the 145 page pull-out in tomoz's edition?

Cooper has earned more than enough credit to get a season in the premier league at least regardless of if Forest stay up or go down. Likewise I agree he should be kept on if they go down because he is the one most likely to get them challenging again.
It's not like Forest have been knocking on the door of the premier league for the last few seasons and he came in and added that bit extra to get them over the line. They were at the bottom end of the championship and in previous seasons flirted with the playoffs a couple of times and finished in the bottom half in other seasons. It's not like they were champions last season either they finished 4th.
It's all well and good splashing loads of money around making signing after signing but it takes time to build a team and make the players into a team. Unfortunately some clubs are so desperate in the premier league whether it's challenging for the title, Europe or staying in the league many are reactive and not proactive. It's being proven with the amount of sackings that a season is too long to be a manager at the top level. The media add fuel to the fire ramping up the rhetoric usually starting with "under pressure" or "under fire" or references to a managers "future" in their headlines. A shame really as building a club and team is the true way to long term success. Brighton and Brentford are the minority of clubs that have steadily built over time.

I see Cooper has been given the dreaded vote of confidence from the fat greek today. I can't see anyone able to keep them in the Premier League with that run in though.
Were the many many players they've bought brought in by Cooper or by Marinakis' son? I find it hard to think Cooper had much say in any of them.
As votes of confidence go, there didn't seem much confidence in that one! I read "We have all been disappointed with recent performances and it is very clear that a lot of hard work needs to be done to address this urgently. Results and performances must improve immediately" as "you've got another three games to sort it"
