Thread: ❔Score, scorers and attendance predictions vs. Wrexham AFC 10.04.23 [NL]

Can't see us keeping a clean sheet. Our tip tapping about at the back will be fully examined by Wrexham. It's even worse sometimes when we are 1-0 up.We just won't get away with it.It will be an aerial bombardment and with our defense I can't see us holding out.Despite our defensive record I still think we are very vulnerable to long throws and set peices as we have been for over three seasons.
As brilliantly as we have done this season I think Wrexham are just too strong.

I am also VERY worried about the officials.

Frankly I am dreading watching it.Sorry folks, hope I am wrong.

I think we’re by some distance the superior side but no Notts team I’ve ever supported has won a game like this so I’ll say 1-1. Obviously suits them more than us but not a disaster for either side.

They’ll exploit our weaknesses from set pieces while we’ll do them by our pace and mobility up front.

Luke Walsh's livestream with Aaron McLean...

Worth a watch from about 44:42 previewing tomorrow (Hopefully video should start at that point)

Barnet scored from a long throw in, Wrexham use this tactic.

With their game in hand, think a draw means the playoffs for us, which we thought was the case before Friday.

I cant remember if we ever played three games on the trot with teams starting with a W. It could be a omen one way or tother.

If we win by 1 goal our goal difference will be 5 better than Wrexhams. Are they likely to be able to close that gap over their last 4 games whilst we play 3?
Better make sure and win by 2. 😊

"Can't see us keeping a clean sheet."

Nobody has kept a clean sheet at Wrexham all season, apart from Wrexham. So BTTS looks a very solid bet.

I just hope we give a good account of ourselves. I've sort of come to terms with the fact we'll be in the playoffs, and winning the title would just be a ridiculously wonderful surprise at this point. But my main fear is we put in the type of performance we usually reserve for Mansfield away and take a hammering. That would be hard to stomach, and hard to bounce back from.

I just hope we play our game - dominate possession, create loads of chances. If we lose doing our thing, so be it.
