great acquisition for Donny - can see Woody playing until he reaches 40 - has really looked after himself and that desire to win will stand him in good stead. All the very best to him, a club legend for us

Only way I would keep Morrison, paid when you play, like he had at Cardiff City,
with his injury list, maybe 3 month contract at a time, but certainly no longer.

I must admit to feeling a bit miffed that we couldn’t end the season with more of a bang against a bottom-of-the-table side containing a number of academy players but on the other hand, how do I feel about finishing 19th with 50 points? A bit chuffed, tbh. Apart from being a “team like Rotherham” we’ve had to put up with a fair few other calamities this season like our manager leaving when we were relatively well placed and taking all the staff with him, losing our most creative player and a catalogue of injuries that seemed to target centre halves in particular. If they were all fit and available (does anyone have any idea what the McCart situation is?) we’d have enough for 2 or 3 teams. I expect a bit of trimming there and others I’d rather stay will probably leave too so Good Luck to Matt Taylor as he tries to recruit for next season and build a team that will be more comfortable in this division, before we push on for promotion the season after. You would have been a bit miffed if you had watched it ! Second half was absolutely dire ! Fosu put in the worst performance Incan remember from a professional player, constantly breaking the moves down by being to clever with back heel passes etc, why we had loan players playing I don’t know when contracted players like Kelly, Eaves and Kiosso should have been given a chance to start ? Substitutions were way too slow and mind boggling, Holvey for Leo was unbelievable, Victor saved us big time second half after we totally disintegrated!

    Shyte!

That’s exactly what the club is aiming for! Championship survival sounds great and financially it must be but imagine that sort of thing with 4 or 5 matches to go 🤬

The jury is out! Must be great being a Bristol City fan

Clearly someone or something upset you.
That obviously wouldn’t have been the starting line up/subs etc if we weren’t already safe
    Silly post

No one upset me. Last week was wonderful and I’ve enjoyed the season. Even Zheng folk have been quick to judge different decisions made by people within the club I think that I’ve kept consistent in what I’ve said.

We came to the last game and it was like a party yet we had no fireworks, no cake, no champagne or real celebration.
I was dwelling on the point that this could be it with 5 games to go. Nothing to play for and no real attachment to what’s happening on the field of play.

The best part of football is the coming together as friends and families and creating memories of good and bad moments. On the pitch decisions that change the game. Great performances from players as well as shyte ones.

Yesterday was a glimpse of what could be with 5 games to go. I didn’t like what I saw coming from that nor what happened on the pitch.

Different opinions aren’t daft they’re just different opinions.

We basically played the reserves today due to injury.MT basically said so in his post match, which,I was extremely impressed with.He now has the bit between his teeth, the gloves are off,and he seems free from the shackles that have hampered him since the day he took the job!
