Brain dead cricket, all the good work being undone by sheer arrogance, baz ball you can stick it, we trail by 190 as I type not lead by 190, Stokes and Mc Cullum you can feck straight off

England could very easily have been 7 or 8 down and the Ashes gone but they got away with it. If we have any chance of winning the Ashes this madness has to stop. They need to learn very quickly ie by tomorrow when to attack and when not to. If they don't Bazball and Stokes should be gone by the end of the summer.
Moronic England still at it, Brook for heaven’s sake, and in comes walking wicket Broad, could he facing a hefty deficit here, amateurish cricket
325 on that pitch when we had been 188-1 is a disgrace.
In the space of 3 hours play we’ve thrown The Ashes away.
The good news?
Stokes will find that this series will stick to him like sh it to a blanket for the rest of his life.
“Stokes Ashes”.
The bails should be burned again after the last test, never in the history of cricket have the ashes been given away so easily.
Brain dead cricketers lead by an arrogant Captain and Coach.
One question I have is why is Stokes playing? Obviously not fit, can’t bowl and his batting apart from one miracle innings (aka Josh Buttler) in a blue moon is very poor.
The arrogance of treating the Aussie bowlers as though they were village green pie chuckers is embarrassing, these bowlers are top class and should be shown some sort of respect.
Joe Root one of the best batsmen in the world should be embarrassed at his amateurish attempt
Never been thrown away so easily! I've spent many a day at Lord's or The Oval while England meekly surrendered to The Aussies (and others) without so much as a whimper. Remember 1 final day at the Oval we needed around 250 to win and I took my kids to their 1st test match. We scratched waiting for Warne to bowl us out for around 150 at 2 an over.
Was it so wonderful before Stokes and McCullum? We won 1 in 17! Last 14 we've won 12 and lost 2 both by a narrow margin.
Anyone wouldn't be Bazball if we didn't go go 2 down come back to win 3-2
If we lose this one it’ll be 3 losses in 3 Tests because you can’t really count Ireland.
I admire your optimism 923 but this is a 1-4 or 0-5 series.
We have too many players who lack game awareness, I’m all for attacking and counterattacking but when you’re 188-1 and the opposing side decide to bowl 2 feet wide of off stump or bouncers you let them wear themselves out for a few overs and you sit in.
There’s no patience, no awareness in most of them.
Just look at our scoring rate for the first 6 wickets yesterday, it dropped dramatically as each wicket fell…….not losing wickets automatically means your scoring rate stays high in today’s cricket.
The conversion rate for Crawley, Pope and Duckett from scoring 30-40 and making a 100 is terrible.
One of the reasons I like Foakes in the side is because he bats properly, he bats the conditions and the situation.
We need Root, Pope and Foakes batting the situation to allow the others to play with gay abandon.
The Aussies must be laughing their socks off at our niaievety.
I don't disagree with much you have written I just see it differently.
The reason we are losing is we are just not good enough. No England quick would get even close to the Aussie 3, we don't have a spin bowler, we don't choose the best wk and of the batsmen only Root would get in their first 6 for sure. So how come we came so close to winning the 1st Test? I think it was Bazball that got us so close not what lost it. Yesterday we folded from 188-1 but what got us there? That included England's highest opening Ashes total since 2010 some 30+ matches ago. Everyone seems to assume playing 'conventionally' would have got us to 450+ I reckon England of old we would have been 90-3 at lunch.
Can't say I particuarly looking forward to today
