I watched it with a friend and some friendly locals in an downtown bar in the middle of the afternoon, walked in as we were 1-0 down. Ended up being a great day/night involving Gladys Knight and me having to take myself home near the end for self preservation.

Even thought it is simply taking a famous song and adopting it I was always impressed with Swindon's 'Can't help falling in love' when visiting in 90s with Jan Åge Fjørtoft and co.

Probably won't go down well this .......

The best I have known was 'Oh mist rolling in from the Trent' in the European Cup winning seasons across the river.

Oh well, I've said it now.

I suggest a minimum 3 month ban Swale.

You get that for lying to Parliament.

At least I was being honest, much as it hurt.

I wonder which Red Dog budding genius song writer had the imagination to swap Mull of Kintyre, for C*ty Ground, and sea for Trent lmao.

I don't remember hearing Fword singing "Mull of Kintyre" until relatively recently, though that could be because I stuck my fingers in my ears whenever they piped up or because I avoided watching highlights of games when they won, but I do watch an awful lot of old footage these days (pre mid-1980s)) and can't say I've registered that song being chanted on any Fword game I've seen. According to an NEP article they didn't start playing and singing it pre-match until 2008.

I'm afraid that due to the seriousness of the offence I must refer this one to a much higher court.

I’m with Elite on this one, now if there was a thread for the most Imbarassing song then this would be a winner.

There is a story behind this revelation/confession and it needs telling. Fan of both teams m_m? Switched allegiances? Drunk, got lost and stumbled into the Temple of Sin?
