I don't think Magpies1959 is making a racist comment, however, there are a couple of lazy stereotypes. I.E. "some black people are very good at limbo" Also, black guys were often wrongly targeted by the police in the street in previous decades (and maybe still are) so it's a dodgy area for humour.
I just question why the focus is on his skin colour? He's a new player who wants to do well at his new club and should be welcomed by the supporters. Common sense gene required.
I think we have dropped this - in no one's interest to keep it going.

"We have dropped this" - So you speak on behalf of the whole board? You may be right , but individuals should be free to make their point, even if no-one is interested!

Would be interesting to know how long he was out for before we signed him.

Yes we knew, but wasn't a concern, hence why we agreed a fee, after the medical

No apologies necessary from those of you who thought that my hopefully light hearted, play on words, earlier in the thread was racist.
Only if Junior Morias is out with the same injury he had when we signed him, do I feel we have any need to fear for his ongoing fitness. Players can always pick up strains in pre season training, and I think our medical staff would have picked up on anything worrying regarding his health/fitness at his medical when joining us. Fingers crossed anyway.
