    Thje injury has taken the sting out of the game al ittle.

    Newcastle are the better team so far but Villa still a threat. We have been a little wasteful so far.

    Pope was last man and considerably more central. Think a yellow was fine for that, some of the other decisions have been awful though (eg the foul at the end on Gordon should have been a yellow)

    I've always thought Madley is a cunt of a referee with his arrogant, dismissive looks and gestures and this just confirms it.

    Not a bad half. Shame about their goal. Bity of a sickener with Diaby scoring and poor marking. Gordon and Tonali looking good. Bruno looks off the pace to me. Isak has been a bit over elaborate at times. Miggy offering little. Burn at left back a liability but doing well enough.
