I think we are mid table, but with possible fire sale in January, we are relegation material.

Might help if we played both halves of the match instead of the second half all the time

Might help if we had a striker who has a presence! Why send crosses into the box for Asante and he’s only little? Like Asante but never going to get important goals to win a match. I could have headed that one in today and here lies the point.

    Mowatt and Grady played well!

Been to the match. Dire pedestrian football first half. Grateful to Palmer for a great penalty save. Much better in the second half and Millwall were not a threat as they were in the first but I am afraid bad decision making when it came to passing. We were not physical enough in the first half as their players were knocking us off the ball every time and winning the second balls. Grady I am afraid was a waste of space. He ran around and tried but he is so lightweight they blew him off the ball 9 times out of 10. I would have had Swift in place of him with Sarmiento, and bought Okay on sooner.

Some observations. I think the second half we again played quite well. We were unlucky not to get at least one goal and Millwall were zero threat in the second half. Sarmiento was a bit of a disappointment and it might be a while before he starts again. Grady needs some match time and will improve. He could have been better at times but showed some sparks. I thought Mowatt had a tidy game. Bartley was solid and I prefer him to Kipre. We really lack a truly creative midfield player. What we wouldn't give for a Dorrans or Koumas! I think it is a tough division as usual but we can make the playoffs.

Yet again we fail to begin to get started until the second half and again Asante is too isolated up front. Don't know why Swift didn't start but Sarmiento shows us all why Carlos has previously preferred to bring him on as a sub. No doubt AJ is right, he has lots of potential and he will get better but time is already passing. Maja's injury also hasn't helped of course as I think being able to play both him and BTA would create us more chances. As others have commented, the championship is still pretty open but time is slipping by and there is still an awful lot to improve on if we want to end up mid table or above.

Totally agree about a creative midfielder - another Krov or Periera! Molumbey not liked by the Irish fans recently and can see why - the guy gives 100% effort and desire but lacks natural quality,
