Agree NW, he’s out of control with studs raised, sending off

I've supported Bamford when he was criticised by just about everyone, but attempting to mislead a match official is something he has form on. And for the second time it led to the dismissal of an opposing player, who was doing nothing more than what a gk should be doing in similar circumstances (and I'd expect Meslier to do) which is closing down the angles to make goal scoring more difficult. If Bamfords touch had been better he might have had a chance at scoring, as it was the ball was gone and he dived having not been touched by the gk.
No contact because Bamford avoided the out of control stud waving goalkeeper

If you look at the photo MT posted it looks a second or two after the point where they would have collided/made contact so if you rewind I suspect the foot height would have been an awful lot lower.

Bamford is past the keeper and not yet going to ground 👀🙈 it possibly a fraction after that when the mystery sniper in the crowd tags him 😎

So their keeper was sent off because of the intent rather than the actual minimal contact.

Messlier will get sent off soon anyway, just to balance the books.

Not sure if you're quoting reality or your own interpretation of events?

If the former, as in some judgement from the FA, then another example of stupendous stupidity on the part of a footballing authority, nothing new there.

If the latter, much the same, just on the part of a single individual.

Good job the criminal justice system doesn't work on the same lines, there are a few individuals in the medical profession associated with my wifes care who will breathe more easily.
