It's a free hit this season. Nothing to lose. We may even attract many new female football fans.
Yes, cos she may not be any good.

Warnock knew this and that's why he didn't stay - Warne knew this and that's why he headed down the M1. It's not so much a manager that's needed as a magician. Matt is doing the best he can with what he's got, but we gambled on some players with injury histories and, sadly, we are also just s**t out of luck on that front.
I guess his signing of the 2 players (Morrison and hall) who were injured last season has muddied the waters a little
since peltier, Humphreys, blackett, Linsey, eaves, odoffin and Ferguson were fit for most of last season yet are injured now

Tony went up to Wilder... Nah then Chris lad fancy a job darn at NYS. I like thee style, like Warney but with brains. You also played fohrus dint tha at R8 back?

    Wilder: I did Tone.

Tone: I'll give thee 5 grand a week.

Wilder: You gotta be jokin I'd rather go darn London... An I ate London.

Tone: We had no intentions of gettin thee anyway... Just had to do due process. That lad darn in Exeter only wants 3 grand a week... But we are R8 serious abaart bein an incrementally consistent championship club... Really we are

Out of them only Humphreys & Lindsay injuries weren't expected. Rest had previous or were on next stop to retirement.

Steve Evans but young Richard would have something to say about that.

Having said that Evo has done really well for himself since leaving us……another promotion to his CV and currently sat in the play offs in League 1 so would he want to come back?

Furthermore ibs, let’s give Matt a chance. Warney took us down 3 times but was allowed AND successfully took us back up on each occasion, so why not let Taylor cut his teeth like Warney?

I love League 1 and a good promo scrap. 😉

46 games in and it was obvious that Warney was doing a job

Difference being, in Warne's first 46 games he took us down, in Taylor's first 46 he kept us up in the Championship

    Anymore silly quotes Walt?

Up until last seasons promotion Evans had done nothing since leaving us. Fair play to him for what he’s doing at Stevenage though.

He did by still being employed and staying well off.
