The target is to turn a L1 or L2 team into a solid Championship team. There's no mention of turning the club into a thriving business. There's also very little precedent for this type of project, and the examples we have are so different as to be useless comparisons.

It won't happen to RUFC anyway, because the investors wouldn't like the deal TS would likely expect. Shame, because they're a smart group, well connected, have had eyes on some of the best academies on the planet, and obviously have a lot more interest in the game than most would-be owners.

All I read about on here relates to the savviest businessman north of Alan Sugar. If he can't milk t-shirts, banners, mugs, and oversized foam cigars, then frankly we should brace ourselves for liquidation.

He could still be there for the century season, when a offer like this in the current climate, our club should look into

Don't worry, if by some miracle we did get this group in charge, half of the forum would be saying they're not up to it if we had a four game dip - just like they're on at LR because we lost to 4 of the top 6 clubs over a 5 game stint... travesty after he was given nothing in January and a depleted squad already heading to League 1...
