This is all very impressive. We already have a fantastic stadium & the owners are improving all the infrastructure.

Possibly. I think our 'marked' pitch was smaller over recent seasons than it could have been so maybe it is just going back to maximum size? It will also be nice for us 'picture straighteners' to finally have the tunnel on the half way line!

Meadow Lane's pitch has always been one of the bigger ones, similar to Wembley in size, so that would make sense. It's always amused me when fans refer Wembley's 'big pitch' taking more out of players when it has always been pretty much similar in area to ML.

The 'picture straighteners' will always have to live with the fact that the Jimmy Sirrel and Pavis stands are not parallel though.

That machine could make a pretty decent scarf but need to change the colours of the threads

B&W stitching in the pitch would look cool.

Unless Wikipedia is wrong (which could well be the case!) it reckons currently the pitch is 104m x 69m so this means the pitch will be 109m x 72m. Wembley is 105 x 69

The halfway line will be lined up correctly at last

Notts old pitch was "apparantly" 104.2 metres x 69.5 metres.
The requirements for Premier League standard is 105 metres x 68 metres.
Given that there is a minimum requirement of at least 5 metres beyond the goal lines and 4 metres beyond the touch lines before any hoardings etc, I somehow cant see why they would want or need to deviate from that 105 x 68.
I was down the ground last Friday and went and had a quick look at the pitch. The "thin" areas that are referred to next to the photographs are in the corners mainly. All 4 corners had some sort of white mesh/material over them to help promote growth according to one of the groundstaff. Probably about 5 to 10 metres squarish. I suppose this warm weather won't help.
The guy on twitter who was linked earlier, one of the ground staff
