Excellent performance today against probably the strongest side in the Championship. Diangana continues to frustrate me though..

I’m pretty happy with that result.

In a reverse sort of way it might suit us better than having won 1-0 because we can’t now just try to sit on a small lead.

Their lot will be thinking they should already be a couple of goals clear of us, I think they are the ones who now need to be bricking it.

Agree with you Mick! If us and Norwich can go one up then both teams could win it!

This game showed exactly where Albion are, a team of mediocre players that have been improved by the coach out of all recognition, well organised, playing out of their skin for each other but lacking in any real quality whatsoever, the tactics employed nullified Southampton brilliantly, a fine display by the players pity we don’t have a forward of note, Asante should have been hooked at half time, but all to play for on Friday

I would be bold with a striker at Southampton ie Weiman or Maja as desperately need someone to convert. Asante works hard but too small and misses too many. If we are to win we MUST convert any clear chances!

Mediocre players? When everyone is saying 4 Quality teams? How did Southampton look any better than us today? Leeds and Norwich looked poor up front today too. All four teams had a really nervous tie and I watched both games and we looked better than the other 3 (today) Might be different next week but we can be proud of the lads all top professionals.
