If you watched the broadcast supporters meeting you may have picked up a couple of off the cuff remarks from the stage about Duff.
So no surprise he ain’t coming to Barnsley.
And I would be extremely surprised to hear that he was even in the running.

Firstly I go to matches, you stopped attending, hows that for having a decent memory ? I also know when the new board was formed and that was 2 years ago , so you can bang the drum all day about this being their first season but it clearly isn"t , your decent memory has failed you again , I also go to supporters meetings 23 times a season at Oakwell with 10,000 others and can see what is happening first hand, I do not have to be told anything as my eyes work quite well thanks

Shads - has I’ve said previously - the supporters meeting was BROADCAST.
And it was clearly stated by JAQ that they had a season (22/23) of sorting things out (after the mess Conway left - remember him?) and they considered this season (23/24) to be their first season in charge.

So they had a season of paying bills - sorting the finances out - establishing a better agreement with the Crynes - share issues to sort - and not least sorting out the two Conway expensive Belgian players.

And then this last season 23/24 to sit down and start to build.
And yet we have supporters already throwing shi.te at them.

They can broadcast what they like but all you are saying is exactly what I have said all along ,and that is they are out of their depth regarding running a football club, you cannot write a year off because its been tough , what are they going to do with this season ? they stripped our playing assets and weakened the squad , they got us kicked out of the FA Cup , they sack a manager with one match to go and are made a laughing stock by having a replacement lined up without a work permit & regarding the sacking of Collins apart from showing little respect in the manner they did it they also promised to communicate with the fans regarding the on going situation & we have heard absolutely nothing, the silence is deafening .
