Hopefully it's a hive of activity behind closed doors and this news vacuum is not because Mr Pace doesn't know what's happening either.
He is probably still trying to get over losing "the best girl in town”.I have a funny feeling RVN will be the successful candidate. He will be Pace`s next bit on the side as he ticks all the boxes.

I have met Pace and talked with him. He is a genuine person who does want what is best for BFC. There is no side to him in my opinion. I have met some shysters in my time and I can smell a rat as the saying goes.

He is pragmatic in the sense that he recognises that the way to increase shareholder value, ergo profit, is to build a successful football club. The two go hand in hand.

I think he got his fingers burnt with VK. Once bitten, twice shy. I think that the Board (it is their decision) will want to be sure that the next manager can walk the walk as well as talk the talk. It has gone, sadly, from wanting a draw to get players in, to now trimming down a bloated squad, recouping money spent and keeping the right players thanks to VK.

I still can be no grudge for Der Kaiser taking the Bayern gig.

I wish him all the best in his endeavours.

For us, we need to move forward as one.

I agree BT. I wish VK all the best.

We will move forward, of that I am sure. Who will be at the helm though?

I don't feel any ill-will towards him, he couldn't turn down the Bayern job, I know that, but should it all go Pete Tong for him at Bayern, I will find it difficult to suppress a smug little smirk of satisfaction.

If Pace wants what is best for our club, as you pointed out, why did he sit back, do nothing, watch Kompany waste £100m, then get us relegated ?
Is this in the best interests of our club ?

I reckon we can get back around £45 million by selling Trafford & Berge. Hardly "wasting" £100 million malwayne.

You once said to me, 'Never trust a man who eats a cheese souffle for a starter."

    Wise words mon ami.

I'll send the buggers straight round to Bolton, you're the one abusing cheese souffles, I just eat 'em.
