Exactly. 1st club to table a couple of offers & we accept. We're under no pressure to sell, the owners words, promotion is the aim. We could start a bidding war for him the amount of clubs keeping tabs on him

If Langstaff's agent has anything about him, he'd already have tried to start a bidding war. Truth is, Langstaff is still a bit of a gamble for a Championship club. The jump is massive.

On a serious note, unless a player wants to go why sell when promotion is the aim. You won’t get another striker to score as many goals as him and you won’t pay that much for one either so what’s the point unless the ambition doesn't match the fans. On a more positive point I think if we still create the chances we have the forwards to put um in, hasn’t got to be langstaff.

I agree it is massive jump but in todays market 700k is daylight robbery. Surprised Posh arent after him at those figures

Agreed, it will be a gamble for any club TBH, I have to say Langstaff reminds me of Harris in a lot of ways he played so (if true) the interest doesn’t surprise me, perhaps Harris things he can develop him a step further?

Contradicted myself there a bit but you know what I mean, we still have strikers capable but not necessarily a 30 plus goal a season one like langstaff, we will have to share the goals out a bit. We still have plenty of goals in us.

    Nonsense.

Trouble being stirred up needlessly on a boring Saturday afternoon, me thinks.

Our summer action seems to be targeted towards having the lowest number of goals in our league games.

[for clarification, I am certainly not happy about this, just don't think it is really that low a fee.]
Good for Millwall as you say but they have got a bargain if so and I can’t see the benefit for Notts at this stage. Seems odd.
