    Get over it
As I said earlier, I don't feel the need to pretend that Brexit was a roaring success just to spare the blushes of Leavers.

If the tories actually knew how to properly deal with the EU, have a proper relationship in the first place, there would have been no need for a referendum. Everything stems from that.
That’s being neither in or not being in favour of membership. Simply stating the root cause. Tory greed. As the last 14 years bitterly underlines.

Bickering here over a yes or no won’t help. As nothing will be proven, just like before the vote. Which hid the truth.

8 years on and it’s still amazing to see the frothing mouthed rage that Brexit provokes amongst the Left.

I’ll pose a question - just what have you lost since we democratically left the EU? Demonstrate to me the material disadvantage you have suffered.

Where is the mouth frothing rage? You're the only person who seems to be getting cross.

Or is that another Express quote?

Answer my question and I'll answer yours. Deal?

Is that a Guardian quote? You first. You clearly have time on your hands.

Time on my hands because I'm posting? Er, so are you...

I'm guessing that it's a no to my suggestion that we each have the courtesy to answer the other's questions

"In October 2021, the UK government's Office of Budget Responsibility calculated that Brexit would cost 4% of GDP per annum over the long term. 4% of 2021 UK GDP is the equivalent of a £32 billion cost per annum to the UK taxpayer. After rebates, the UK's EU membership fee in 2018 was £13.2 billion."

That's from Wikipedia. Will that do?
