    RIP Thai.

Sad news, my thoughts are with his family. I never knew him or met him but enjoyed his contributions to the board. Losing any fellow Miller is like losing an old friend.

MS, his surmane was Radford, original from Rawmarsh. I think when he left Steel's mid/late 70's he took the Turf tavern in town. I then lost track of him a bit but he turned up in the Alexandre hotel, back of Castle Market in Sheff. Then he had the Three magpies at Brinsworth in the late 80's. From there he had the Sportsman in Benty Lane, up Croospool area.( lovely pub). Ron Hull let Ann( his wife) take the Fitz in Parkgate. When they split up he buggered off to Thailand, after a few years of pleasure, he settled down and married a Thai girl, think she was a hairdresser(could be wrong there) he name was about 3 inch long, and unpronounceable to us, so she was know as Meow.
There's more but not very interesting..............RIP Mick.

Never knew him but I went in all those pubs (except the crosspool one) when he was the landlord.
    RIP
