Wouldnt be surprised if Man U and Liverpool also comes in for him.
Man U don't have the budget. They just jizzed £80m on Lenny Yoro.

Liverpool haven't signed anyone this summer at all, which tells it's own story.
They haven't sold well since Courtinho and spent a fortune rebuilding their midfield last summer.

Add that to the Gordon obsession despite it absolutely not happening. If it was to happen it would have been instead of the Mintah and Anderson sales.

Gordon is in line for a new contract which will adjust out PSR against his signing down as the 3.5 yr to an extended +5 yrs so each of his yearly amortised amounts is reduced as it's broken into smaller amounts over a longer period.

However, if you take a look at any of the BinDipper fan sites or local rat city rags they've already got him in a red shirt.

The definition of Hubris. The entire city literally hunted the lad out of Merseyside. Gordon is going nowhere.

Chelsea have the option, however, they don't a clue what they are doing.

Despite the calibre of player Guehi is a player remembers where he wasn't wanted.

They let him go and he's seen where his class mates have ended up and where they are thriving.

All bodes well but not over 'til the fat lady sings.

Of course Man U have the funds because PSR doesn't apply to them..

It's just come out that the PL gave them a 30m cushion because of Covid whilst other clubs got 1m..

Man U is the most protected club in the PL

Manchester United's search for a midfielder could see them make an offer for Burnley's Norway international Sander Berge, 26, after the Old Trafford club turned their search away from Paris St-Germain's 23-year-old Uruguayan Manuel Ugarte

    - Sander Berge from Ugarte rumours.

Erik ten Hag has not discounted the idea of Manchester United signing Fiorentina's Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, 27, who spent last season on loan at Old Trafford.

    - Still thinking Amrabat is a decent player.

but of these snippets tell a story of where they are in terms of finance.

I know what you're saying with it turning out that the Prem an exceptional allowance of £40m for Covid. The most that any other club got in that period was around £1million.

Yet another Fraudulent bit of dirty back room dealing with Masters and his cronies getting their fingers caught in the till.

However, whilst the 'other 14' persist with they boot shining, a$$ licking of the Fraudulent 6 these things will never be brought to book.

In the current climate, with real penalties being handed out I'm sure the others will start to call BS on every single injustice.

The Glazers have sank the club into £1.1Billion of debt. The service the interest on the loan with which the bought the club initially. They haven't paid a single dollar off the debt itself.

This is OPEX territory now with the CAPEX expenditure being already outlay for the acquisition.

So, massive wage bill, diminishing match day revenue as OT is out performed by newer nicer stadiums, not in the Champions League, Massive staff wages & an unholy monthly finance repayment which all counts towards PSR.

They are running out of time, you can't rob Peter to pay Paul. It's a Ponzi Scheme and the wheels are starting to fall off.

Without being 'pride of all Europe & Cock of the north', winning trophies and competing in the latter stages of the UCL they're just not the hot ticket item they were.

Right now the EPL expansion model is heavily focused on the USA. The USA is a nation of Champions. No loyalty, winners get eyeballs. Man U's USA draw/clout/pull/attraction 20 yrs ago was the sole focus of an uninterested market.

Today, USA sports are saturated, they're done. The Audience is getting more turned on the Football. However, today, Man U are 1 voice in a chorus of other exciting interesting, competitive clubs.

Don't be so sure they will keep on spending.

Beside Auld Rat-Face is a skinflint and doesn't seem to want to spend any money on anything.

Delightful as that is for us,

I have and some of them say he's a red and they'll get him with a big enough bid whilst blaming the blue half for hounding him out of the city.

Howe wouldn't have been happy about the snafu over the summer will be resolved with Eddie and the lads. Plus the current work on new contract should clear everything up.

To top it off, his mate Guehi is joining the club all being well.

Once again just don't see why he would want to leave.
