    Bud, you have me confused!

I replied to your post regarding Riverside and i think you are on about Camperdown here. To be clear, i dont think Riverside can be built where they want it. I need to ask a few questions about that and once i tie the right person down, i will come back on that.

However, you seem to be providing more questions about Campy that on another day i would be asking questions about.

What i will ask questions about is what transport infrastructure changes can be made in regards to Campy access? You cant help but notice the roadworks at the auld Swallow curcle which is being carried out due to a caveat in the planning for Den Head of Grey that access had to be improved to the hotel and housing development.

Ah okay. They have a long term lease on Riverside. They can do what they want there. The council couldn't wait to get rid of it. Part of the deal is that whatever junior team currently plays there, still gets to play there. So not much changes on that front, except Dundee now pay the council for the use of the land instead of the council forking out thousands on maintenance that they'd rather do without.
With regards the Campy traffic, I've no idea. A lot is being said on this, especially when the OF come to town, but really, it's not that much different than it would normally be. Buses have strict routes in and out of Dens/Tannadice atm. There are specific police routes which they are advised to follow. They all take the same entry/egress routes similar to what would happen at Campy. I guess it would all depend on how quickly traffic could get into the parking zones as it is very close to the Kingsway. That's where the tailbacks would occur.

Yes, they can use the area how they like, but i seriously doubt they can build what they want on that area. Like i say, i have to ask a man in the know before i say more to confirm my doubts.

    Hey! You changed that!

The concerns surrounding traffic at Campy are all around the fact that the area can hardly handle the traffic there just now. Its absolute chaos as it is when the Ice Hockey, Cinema, McDonalds, KFC, Nandos and Weavers Mill are in full flow! Imagine if other events were on at the park as well at the same time. Bus routes are of little concern from Campy as current priority routes out of Coldside are to get them onto the Kingsway.

Shedka takes the piss regularly with the crowds, but what if they continue their current revival? Coldside clears pretty quickly as there are multiple routes out. Campy has 3 routes out where the vast majority will head to the Kingsway where chaos will ensue! Remember the majority of both supports reside in Fife, Angus and Perthshire apparently.

Sorry for perpetuating this, but i wasnt at the game so need something to get my teeth into!

I guess that's why they've applied for planning permission.

Thing is, if im right, planning permission should not have been allowed to be submitted in the first place, but the Council have form in regards to buildings on Riverside Drive.

Congestion is a part of life. Edinburgh and Glasgow at rush hour for example, are manic. People get around it though, as they will this, as they did the Big Weekend which had far more folk than the Nou Campy ever will. It's a couple of hours every couple of weeks.
I can't actually see many people parking within the complex anyway. Folk will head for the surrounding streets and walk in, as they do just now and they'll find the best ways in and out.

On Riverside first, i spoke to my man in the know and they say the plans dont affect the airport as i thought and went into his usual blah, blah, blah as to why it could but doesnt!

On Congestion, yes its a part of life, but should it really be? Had to be around Glasgow around rush hour too often and dont see it as too bad. But for certain parts of the Kingsway, its clogging at weird times and Campy will just add to that. Should have by-passed the Kingsway years ago!

For big weekend, there was a park n ride from Riverside so that mitigated some of the access issues.

No spin needed for me when discussing you lot, I stick to the facts and have you lot extremely bathered

You aren't the world-beaters you think you are currently and all those goals against league one and two opposition has gone to your heads

1 win in 11 premiership games I think it is now

But it's not just the football is it?
If you check the full list of proposed buildings there's a hotel, shops, residential, a whole load of businesses isn't there? It's a fully functional 24/7 hub PLUS the stadium.
