B T : No,no ! I am C of E . I used to sing as a lad in Rishton Parish Church as a choir boy. But those glorious sounds of heaven ,departed and some local frog crept in!! Or was it a magpie?? I once took a magpie from its nest and trained it. It often visited the local men on the bowling green pub, they would offer it beer from their jars, sadly a cat got into its cage,the magpie has a white breast ,and in Rishton it would fly up to the roof top chimneys. but from the smoke up there it took on a dark waist coat. A really great feeling was when I clapped my hands (it knew I ofered it food ) it would fly to me from 50-100 plus m.
