Thread: Craig Levein

I think Cameron came to meadow lane and did a what was expected of him when we were in the national league, we shouldn't forget that as a national league player he was adequate for the team and helped us get promotion. Unfortunately he really isn't EFL standard and that's when he got found out better and smarter players left him exposed on many occasions. I wasn't surprised when he left after losing the captaincy but I was surprised he was made captain at St Johnstone I think that might change with the new regime.

I think making a loan signing captain is a very poor decision, bound to annoy the permanent signings. Maybe this indicates that Levein isn't all that good as a manager.

I have family in Perth so I pick up bits and pieces, and one thing I understood was that before they brought in Cameron, there was a real crisis of on-the-field leadership. They didn't seem to have anyone to choose. Cameron's appointment was widely welcomed as a result.
