    10% renewables for the week.
According to the Dominic Lawson article in yesterday’s Sunday Times newspaper at 4pm on November 5 in the U.K. only 4% of our energy needs were met by renewables which consist of wind and solar power.
Fortunately hydrocarbons were at hand to keep the lights on, with gas ramped up to supply 63% of requirements.
If Ed Milband and the rest of his Labour Government ministers get their way with all our electricity being solely produced by renewables by 2030 the U.K. public better get used to power cuts.

The Scottish Government acting Net Zero minister Gillian Martin is off to the aptly named COO 29 having a holiday at Scottish taxpayers expense.
I see that Neil Gray Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary for Health and Aberdeen FC. supporter has been using a chauffeur driven Scottish Government ministerial car to attend his Aberdeen FC cup ties at Hampden Park and a league game against Livingston at Pittodrie.
After replacing ‘iPad Gate’ Michael Mathieson as the Cabinet Secretary for Health you would have thought that Neil Gray would have been ‘squeaky clean’ in his use of Scottish Government ministerial cars.
